I had heard the name Sharon Van Etten kicked around for a few years, and have heard some of her stuff be played on the radio, but I never gave her music a proper listen. This week her new record
Tramp dropped, and I must say Etten is well on her way to being a power player in the singer-songwriter world. Though I am still letting
Tramp grow on me, the one song that sticks out for me is the single "Serpents." I love the way her cold voice sounds on top of the guitar wail in the background.
